Environment Canada’s Greenwood page showed a yellow air-quality warning at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, with wildfire smoke expected to affect the Boundary over the next 24 to 48 hours.
Greenwood posted a July 18 call for casual 2026 local election officials. The posting lists advance voting October 7, General Voting Day October 17 and an August 28 application deadline.
Stage 2 water restrictions and Southeast Fire Centre Category 2/3 open-fire prohibitions remain posted. DriveBC did not verify a new Greenwood-local closure, with regional Highway 3 paving still worth checking before travel.
